Statement Analysis 911 Call for Reann Murphy by Killer

The man accused of killing a 9-year-old girl then dumping her body in a dumpster is the one who called 911.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Department also said that 24-year-old Jerrod Metsker also took part in the search for Reann Murphy Saturday night.  There is, at times, a need to control and a need to know, by the guilty.

                                                       "We have a missing person"

Note the caller begins with the pronoun "we" and calls the victim a missing "person" and not a young girl.  "person" is gender neutral and a generic term, which is not expected when one is speaking of a young child.

The subject (caller) stays with the pronoun "we", which can be used to share guilt.  He had strangled the little girl.

"a little girl, Reann"
He does not ask for help for Reann specifically, only to send a squad out.

Regarding what she was wearing, he did not answer, saying he did not know how far he could take his mom's cordless phone.  This avoidance means that the question of knowledge of her clothing may be sensitive to the subject.

he did not give his last name, until specifically asked.  Here is the only area in which he spoke for himself:

"I had  knock on my door, basically."

The word "basically" means that there are other things in his mind, just that he is not saying what they are.

Very interesting. This rules out any mental defect imo. Very crafty. Very self-serving.

I wonder why he called at all- the frantic search was part of his fantasy? Or could he not stand waiting to see if they found her? Or he was showing off that he was smarter than police and neighbors? Or simply alibi building?

Another case that I watched recently on Dateline surprised me that the murderer placed himself in the case.

It was the case about murder victim Kenia Monge. The murderer was Travis Forbes.

I think the only reason he is in jail is because he choose to put himself in the case.

The day after he killed her, he texted the victims phone (which was with her friend) and asked if she got home ok. Kenia’s step father then called him and he eventually answered and even agreed to meet him in person where he claims hs last saw her. Of course he lied and said she left with another man. But the fact he put himself with her at all surprised me.

Had he not done that, I am not sure he would have been caught.

I think in this case he was either sure he was too smart or he maybe wanted to get caught.

The judge that denied Elaine protection is just as bad as the judge that forced Dylan to go visit his dad. No child should be forced like that. Kids know when they fear someone. I partly blame the judge that forced that trip for Dylan's death. And if Mark harms Elaine this judge is also to blame.

It's just an order of protection. It's not like it's a conviction.

If someone is scared why would anyone refuse the order. It makes no sense. It's not even like it would affect his ability to work or live his life being they don't even live close.

These judges should be fired for failing to protect.

I agree trustmeigetit. Mark Redwine was hospitalized with paranoia and diagnosed with an altered state of mind and had two recently purchased guns in his care. If I were Elaine I would be fearful too. She is vocal about thinking he had something to do with Dylan's death. I would be afarid of him snapping and taking it out on me if I were Elaine. She certainly knows the man and what she thinks he is capable of.

I am also surprised that the judge denied Elaine's protective order.

Mark Redwine is an angry, bitter, paranoid alcoholic, with ready access to firearms. He is toting around his weapons, anticipating a confrontation with real, or imagined pursuers.

Gee, what could possibly go wrong?

Elaine should run far and fast. Mark Redwine is on the brink. Even on a lucid/sober day, he see's her as the source of his misery. He had demostrated that he is delusional with his hallucinations, and he literally has nothing to lose.

Elaine IS in danger, with or without an order of protection in place, and whether the idiot judge agrees, or not.

Kate and Gerry McCann have been given permission to speak a the trial of Goncalo Amara over accusations he made against them in his book The Truth of the Lie.

Snipped:

Kate and Gerry McCann will tell a Portuguese judge next week of their heartbreak over smears spouted by the detective who led the bungled police search for their daughter.

The couple won the latest round in their long legal battle to silence ex-police chief Goncalo Amaral - who claims they were responsible for Madeleine's death.

They have both been granted permission to give emotional statements in a Lisbon court on Monday as the libel case comes to a close.

The pair will describe how the cruel and malicious lies from Amaral have caused them unnecessary grief and hampered the search for Madeleine.

Kate, 46, and Gerry, 45, learned they will be allowed to speak in court shortly after they told of their renewed hope that their daughter could still be alive.

They spoke out following an unsuccessful eight-day search for clues into the seven year old case by Scotland Yard detectives in Praia da Luz.

In a statement they said: "We are very pleased that significant activity has taken place in Praia da Luz over the last eight days.

"We are further encouraged that, despite intensive searches, no trace of Madeleine has been found and this reinforces our belief that she could still be alive.

"As parents of a missing child, we have always wanted all reasonable lines of inquiry to be followed.

"It is gratifying to know that a substantial amount of work will take place over the coming months with the close co-operation of the British and Portuguese authorities.

"We would like to thank all those involved for their efforts and members of the public who have come forward with information."

The couple's legal battle against Amaral, who was the local police chief when Madeleine vanished in May 2007, has dragged on for years.

They are suing the 56-year-old for £1million damages over accusations he made in his controversial 2008 book The Truth of the Lie.

He claimed Madeleine died in an accident at the family's holiday apartment and that her parents covered up the tragedy.

Amaral, who has since retired, insists everything written was already contained in police and court case files which had been made public.

A source close to the McCanns said: "Finally it looks like drawing to a close and they are hopeful they can win the case.

"They both want to see an end to it. The poisonous lies said against Kate and Gerry have caused them great distress and have hindered the search for Madeleine.

"It will be the final stage of the trial and there is not expected to be any cross examination.

"Kate and Gerry have applied to give declarations, the court has now agreed and they have been asked to be present in person on Monday.

"They will describe the impact that Mr Amaral's comments have had on them and the wider family.

"The judge will listen, assess it and retire to consider a verdict. It is the final stage of the court procedure but judgement will be reserved."

The McCann's spokesperson Clarence Mitchell said: "Kate and Gerry are planning to attend court on Monday to make their personal statements after their appeal to do so was successful."

Madeleine was nearly four-years-old when she vanished while her parents dined with friends in a nearby tapas restaurant.

The Portuguese police case - which was criticised after the McCanns were named formal suspects - was shelved the following year.

Operation Grange was set up in 2011 to investigate the disappearance after David Cameron ordered Scotland Yard to review all the evidence in the case.

British detectives have identified eight male suspects they want to quiz in connection with Madeleine's disappearance.

That is disgusting the judge refused Elaine an order of protection.
I cant say I'm surprised.
The Ayla Reynolds case showed just how easy it is for abusers to manipulate LE as well as the judicial system. I mean, if a thug like Justin can get cops to act as his muscle to kidnap Ayla, why have any faith?
It seems like the whole system is completely screwed up.

I hope that the transcripts of the "poor us" speech Gerry and Kate are about to give are available for SA analysis.

I did think Amaral had a very good point in a all this. Everything in his book was already released to the public in the police files. So it's not new. And there are still millions of gullible people that think mommy and daddy are innocent.

And what pisses me off the most is they claim the book is hurting the search but they don't address the lack of actual searching on their part, the refusal to answer questions or lies.

I hope that maybe someday when their protectors either retire or die they are held accountable. I think it's safe to say those protecting them know the truth.

It just takes one person to finally fess up. I pray for that day.

Really, you would think the judge would give Elaine the benefit of the doubt, and err on the side of caution. I would be scared too if I were her. Wasn't he recently found to be delusional and with weapons?

What is wrong with judges? What harm would come to M.R. if he had a restraining order against him?

I only hope that he really screws up, and ends up in jail for something. The best would be he is tried for Dylan's murder.

It's still a shame that Mark hasn't been at least named a suspect with Dylan's murdered. I mean that kid didn't even make it 24 hours under his roof and disappeared and his body was found very close by.

Mark then stated on Dr Phil he would take a polygraph then refused.

But the sad part, an order of protection can't guarantee her safety. People are killed even with that.

This was a post made on Pat Browns (criminal profiler) site. I think Guerra is one of the Portugal bloggers that has posted about the case extensively. But I could be wrong. But she posted this.
It is so crazy how many people are protecting these 2 selfish awful parents.

I mean who on earth gets a key to a church in another country. Assuming of course this is true.

With some of the theories they've come up with, I sometimes wonder if Redwood and company hadn't already been to the scrubland of Praia da Luz to smoke the evidence.

I just listened to an interesting discussion on a Portuguese show where this gentleman, Mr. Sargento, said that he asked the bishop of the Algarve if it was true that the McCanns had visited the church in Praia da Luz on, I believe he said, Jan 14, 2010. Local people said they had seen the couple leaving the church at 5 in the morning through a side door on that day and Mr. Sargento wanted to know if this was true. The bishop didn't have first hand knowledge so he made enquiries and later confirmed to Mr. Sargento that that was indeed the case. He also told Mr. Sargento that Mrs. Hubbard, the wife of the Anglican priest Mr. Haynes Hubbard, had entered into a state of panic when she found out that Mr. Sargento was asking the bishop these questions. Mr. Sargento was told that the Hubbards are friends of Mrs. McCann's parents, they knew them before they arrived on the scene in Portugal 3 or 4 days after the child was reported missing. And apparently since day one to this day the McCanns have keys to the church, they can come and go as they please.

Trustmeigetit said the judge should be fired for forcing Dylan to see his father...

A few things. 1. We cannot fault a judge, nor anyone for not detecting a father capable of murdering his own son, and discarding him like a broken condom.

It is simply hard to fathom a parent that can do these things.
We are slightly desensitized as we read many of these as they unfold.

But a judge with an entire family that managed to make it thus far without murdering... Can't fault him.

2. Dylan was a young teenager. He did not, in anyway state he was afraid of his father. He simply did not want to go, which for a 14 year old is not that far fetched. Especially when you consider the father in this case.

Inadequate, selfish,l whiny, little bitch who actually felt jealousy his son had friends he wanted to see more than his perverted ass dad.

The judge sees this a million times a year. A teenager who thinks his parents are stupid, and it's a miracle they have not been hit by av car yet. A teenager always thinks they know more than their parents.

Had Dylan expressed real fear, he would NOT have been made to go. His mother would have NOT given a half a shart and would have went into hiding with her children.

Had the garbage father been told by the judge that he is feared by his son, Dylan would still be alive.

Why?

Because that self conscious, narcissistic pile of wasted skin and hair would make a point of showing everyone that any fear of him is entirely ridiculous.

Sack of garbage
